The iPhone 4S includes iCloud integration which enables you to automatically have your multimedia including music and photos backed up, and on all your devices seamlessly. The intuitive technology provides yet another unique feature of the phone series form one of the World’s most respected brands.

The iCloud is a new service form Apple which initially provides every user who signs up to use it with a reasonable 5 gigabytes of storage space. Within this storage space you can manually place music, photos and other files. Alternatively, you can also have music, movies and other iTunes downloads as well as photos and apps form your phone pushed directly to both your iCloud space, along with all of your other Apple devices, such as your Mac or iPad. This means that as well as having your downloads and files with you wherever you go, and regardless of which device you are using, they are also backed up should anything happen to those devices.

The new service was rolled out in unison with the iPhone 4S which in turn signaled the arrival of the new iOS 5 operating system which users of previous models including the iPhone 4 can also upgrade too. The iOS as introduced many innovative features including voice command technology in its Siri application, and better control of notifications, along with the ability to sign up for and turn iCloud on or off. If switched on and configured to do so, when you use the improved 8 megapixel camera and LED flash to capture a great photo on your handset it will instantly be backed up on your cloud space. Additionally, if you have other previously suggested devices, when you go into Photos or iPhoto on those, you will instantly see the photo(s) from your phone. And the best part is, you didn’t even have to share them.

As well as photos, music and movies downloaded to your iTunes account can also be automatically synced with your cloud space, as can new apps which you add on top of the many powerful apps now built in with iOS 5, and iBooks. It doesn’t even stop there, send documents, calendar events, emails and contacts to your space too. The initial 5 gigabytes is free, and if you should need more it is available up to 55 gigabytes presently.

This new feature on the iPhone 4S (unlock icloud) and its operating system respectively, once again sets this phone series apart from competitors as it provides something so seamless for users in a busy world. Best of all it also ensures that what you buy, download and the media and documents you create are backed up in a safe place.
